About Marcus Ambrester
Marcus Ambrester, M.A. has been a therapist since 1998. He received his Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO in 2004. He is an ordained minister and has worked extensively with Native American and Yogic healing modalities for the past 12 years. Marcus returned home to Tennessee and has been in Private Practice in Nashville since 2006.
While in Boulder, Marcus worked with Vietnam Veterans and their wives. He taught classes on alcoholism recovery to people convicted of DUIs and worked in private practice with the Niwot Center for Integrative Therapies (now www.coloradotherapies.com). He and his wife lead four-day spiritual retreats for couples. His counseling practice focuses on helping people to find and resolve the blocks that prevent them from walking their life’s path in a successful way with happiness, abundance, and joy.
