About Ruth Ramsay

Ruth Ramsay (she/her) is an adult sex educator and coach, on a mission for sexual energy to be recognised as a force for good.
Ruth has supported hundreds of adults through her coaching and workshops, and many more through her speaking and writing. Her TEDx talk ‘Revamp Your Sex Life In Six Minutes’ has over 3 million views and she regularly appears in the UK press.
Ruth started her working life as a journalist, graduating from the top journalism school in London. Four years later she swerved into a different career, fulfilling a long-held fantasy of becoming a striptease artist. She performed for over a decade, taught striptease, ran events, helped set up the UK’s first recognized union for adult industry workers and became an award-winning campaigner for sexual rights.
Now, as a coach, Ruth supports clients in understanding sex, desire and their bodies. She empowers them to recognize honestly what they need for pleasure and to communicate this to partners. Her popular workshops include How To Please A Woman In Bed (aka How To Pleasure A Vulva); Your First Sex Party; Exploring Your Fantasies; and Understanding Your Sexual Mind.
Ruth’s style is upbeat and pleasure-led.
Ruth is based near London, UK, and is a happily-married stepmom.
